I have been in the arts for 20 years
starting out in Graphic Design which eventually led to doing fine art full time.
I began drawing portraits in graphite pencil and painting landscapes in oils.
Trying all of the mediums, my favorites are oil and watercolor.
My goals and
challenges have been to capture the essence of flowers, the majesty of a
landscape and the personality of a portrait. Living near the Rocky Mountains
provides an endless supply of subject matter. I have also been teaching art
classes and giving demonstrations for local art organizations.
Entering local shows, my work has won numerous awards. Many
of my works are in private and corporate collections in different areas of the
United States.
