Patty Jones:: Multimedia Artist and Sculptor
I love creating art and traveling! After spending my childhood traveling the world as an “Army brat,” I landed in Colorado. At Colorado State University I earned a bachelor’s degree in Graphic design and masters in Medical Illustration. I spent the next 12 years in the beautiful Rocky Mountains as a graphic designer, and then changed careers again to teach art in middle school.

Now that I am retired, I devote much of my time to my two passions: art and travel. I am a juried member of Paletteers Art Club, and I have shown my paintings and bronzes in art shows in the north Denver area. I have also taught adult classes and workshops, both in Colorado and on cruise ships. Years of teaching art has shown me that everyone is an artist; we all just need an opportunity and a little help to find our creativity. I am fortunate to be able to spend my time exploring my artistic side!

Since retirement watercolor is my occupation and passion.  Art sharpens my visual perception and makes me more sensitive to the feelings of places and people.

Why watercolor?  Perhaps the need to develop a process for doing a watercolor appeals to my engineering nature.

My paintings have been juried into shows at The Torpedo Factory in Alexandria the D'Art Center Norfolk and the Peninsula Center (and others).  I have shown in several galleries.  I was a long time member of Blue Skies Gallery in Hampton, Va.  And moved to Colorado in 2015.

I hope that my art gives you some pleasure.  More importantly, perhaps it will help you learn a new way of looking at your personal corner of the world.

Lillian B. Montoya:: Watercolor, Oil, and Mixed Media  Artist
As a native of New Mexico, Lillian reflects the essence of the Southwest in her watercolors, oils, and mixed media. The realism of her florals, landscapes, and still lifes are defined in her individual style of painting.

Starting in 1979, she continued her studies developing into a professional artist. She has won numerous awards in various media expressing her love for the Southwest.

She has studied under nationally known artists and currently teaches her students watercolor and oil. Her paintings are found in private collections here and abroad. She is also a signature member of the Colorado Watercolor Society.

She currently resides in Westminster, Colorado where she maintains her studio.
