Ann Sokolov/Schmiedeke

I was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and have lived in Toronto Canada, Southern California, and finally settled down in Colorado.
Since I can remember, I have always loved and still love to create. I find that I get to be quite a cranky person if I do not turn my attentions to making something.
I have created graphic designs for a California sportswear company. Painted backdrops and T shirt designs, for a public access T.V show in Pittsburgh. I have also designed T shirts for band promotions. Created and sold unique key chains and costume jewelry, and one of a kind hand painted clothing. My paintings are in private collections across the country.
I paint and draw in a myriad of media. Watercolor and color pencil being my favorites.
