A full-time professional artist, Jane Wunder, started drawing and painting at an early age and is very versatile in her mediums.  Through the years she has developed her own unique style.  Her favorite subjects are the Rocky Mountains and the Snowy Range area in Colorado and Wyoming .  "I just can't get enough of the Rocky Mountain region," she said at a recent interview.

This explains why she makes her home in Denver , Colorado with the front range of the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop.   She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs in their cabin retreat in the heart of the Rocky Mountains .

Jane has been teaching her painting and pastel drawing techniques throughout the Midwest for community colleges and in private workshops since 1979.  She has published five how-to books on color pencil drawing, watercolor, and pen/ink techniques through Susan Scheewe; national author and publisher.  She has also written articles on colored pencil drawing techniques in nationally recognized magazines; Tole World and Decorative Painter.

Jane’s work can be seen at various locations through Shows on Loan Organization and the Paletteers Art Club in the Denver area.   Mrs. Wunder has won various awards for her watercolors and pastels.

Currently her work is being presented at Deslems Fine Art Gallery in Cheyenne, Wyoming and at Red Canyon Art Co. Lyons, Colorado.
