Gail’s first love is working in watercolor. The rich
colorful landscapes of Colorado have been her inspiration for many of her
paintings. The animal world has not escaped her attention and these studies are
created in colored pencil and/or watercolor. Gail continues to expand her work
by experimenting with a variety of papers and adding acrylic to her watercolors
to create vibrant and colorful paintings.
Gail began her art studies at Henry Ford Community College in Michigan. She has
also taken watercolor classes and workshops from nationally acclaimed artists
such as Judy Betts, Tom Lynch and Christopher Schink. More recently Colorado's
own Scott Mattlin has been her teacher.
Currently her work may be found at the Muse Gallery in Longmont. She is also a
member the Louisville Art Association and a participant in the East Boulder
County Studio Tour.
